36 Days of Type is a project that invites creators to express their particular interpretation of the letters and numbers of the Latin alphabet. For the 2019 edition, I experimented with a new tool—illustrating in Procreate for iPad. I created a standard framework of colorfully extruded letters on Illustrator. Then brought that template over to Procreate to draw flowers and paint marbling on top. The result? Overgrown type structures and hours of meditation.
